Seniors, is it human nature to enjoy getting scared about unlikely situations, such as E.T. encounters?

What would it take for you willingly to agree to go as a "guest penger" on an E.T. spaceship? Have the movies & talk radio discussions of E.T.'s made the thought a bit scary? Are we less adventurous now than when we were younger? uming you returned, would you enjoy the prestige of having made the trip?
