Question about what art materials to use (10 points)?

Use bamboo, it is cheap to buy, very pliable & lasts quite a long time. Maybe coat it in colored epoxy resin for day, mix some glow in the dark powder into the resin or wrap lights around the poles if you have a power source for night. The resin will make it last even longer & you can get some great colors in resin dye.
