Mossberg Maverick M88? What do you think?

I own a Mossberg Maverick M88 and absolutely LOVE the thing. It's so light, easy to handle, and has a great look to it. I constantly hear people talking crap about it and can't seem to figure out why! It's jammed only once (through no fault of it's own mind you), and is just so versatile. lol, am I missing something? Has anyone heard of them going faulty through extended use or anything? I can't seem to find anything wrong with it, the only thing I don't like is the safety but otherwise it's perfect. Has anyone else owned one or heard reviews about them and can tell me what you think? Thanks for the help!
