How many more times can you stand hearing "create jobs" before you snap?
For me, this phrase long ago crossed the line into the mindless hollow cliche of group speak. So many people have said it so many times but I don't believe anybody has ever explained what they think it means. Cut taxes on the rich, put two chicken bones in a paper bag, wave it over your head and cast it over your shoulder while chanting "Satan get behind me!" then POOF... the miraculous creation of jobs from the dark immaterial void! We don't know how it works. Scientists can't even figure it out. It's magic! What kind of ignorant antiquated superstitious nonsense is this? Without saying the phrase "create jobs", what words would you otherwise use to address the subject matter of collective constructive action, inclusive benefit and improvement of the conditions of our lives?
