WHY ARE DOCTOR'S SO STUPID!!!!?

My doctors around here are idiots I'm telling you. My 20 month old son has had diarrea for a month straight and puked here and there. They finally did something about it when he got bad enough. We took him to the ER on Friday morning because he would not stop puking and had very bad diarrea, he was really pale, his lips were like WHITE and was very weak. Not himself at all. They took xrays of his chest and stomach, the chest xrays showed he had a little pnemonia and bronchitis and his stomach xray showed he had a lot of stool built up, that's why he was having diarrea for so long, it was just going around where it was all built up. They admitted him and put him on an IV. We were suppose to be out yesterday morning but he wasn't drinking or eating like he needed to, and they gave him an enima and he never had a stool that they liked so we had to stay another night. We finally got to come home today, he's doing better....not puking anymore and drinking better. But he still has diarrea and not eating like normal, but better than he was. We have a check up later this week and hopefully he'll be doing a lot better by then so he doesn't have to go back to the hospital. He also had the stomach flu...which he gave his dad and I, hopefully we won't p it back to him. If he starts puking again or isn't drinking enough he has to go back. Anyway...I'm just so pissed bc the dr's kept telling me it was a bad case of diarrea and a little stomach bug going around. I was not going to chance it anymore I knew I had to take him in and I'm so glad I did, I just feel like a horrible mother for letting this happen for this long. I'm also pregnant so I cannot take any medicine for this flu, I'm afraid I'm gonna give it right back to him.
