My Msn isn't working!?

When I try to sign into msn it says something like " We can not sign into msn right now. The service is temporally unavailble" and than I click troubleshoot, and than go threw the process trying to fix it but it says something like "Failed to connect to the service. This could be due to improper proxy or firewall connections." amd so on... Has this happened to you before and how do I fix it? I am very frustrated.
