If you could go back to the French Revolution would you want to be an aristocrat or a revolutionary? and why?

Curious on what side people here would take if they traveled back to the French Revolution and why you chose that side. Would you be a revolutionary and fight for the revolution and help capture aristocrats even though you know they could end up guillotined? or would you be an aristocrat who lived in luxury and help the monarchy and know that this may get you guillotined. This question is just for curiosity sake and please answer with an answer and not a question about today's politics. Thanks and have fun with the question.
